Glyn studied sculpture at the Central School of Art between 1970-73 and is originally from the North East, now splitting his time between London and St Ives. He works in a mixture of mild steel and wood and incorporates other recycled ephemera in his sculptures, which range in size from the miniature to large scale garden sculptures. The mild steel abstracts relate to feelings of shape, space, balance and movement and are oiled, give them a russet tinge that gives warmth to the metal and an engaging patina.
