Born in St Ives, Christine Brunnock lives and paints in Carbis Bay, Cornwall, and is largely self-taught, having drawn and painted all her life. Over the years she has concentrated on painting her local environment, finding the Cornish landscapes and coastlines to be a powerful and continual inspiration. Christine produces atmospheric paintings that portray her experiences and responses to the landscape, primarily using acrylic paint but also using mixed media. She likes to use brushes, palette knives and any other tool that makes a mark.
