After working for some years as a graphic designer and illustrator, Julian has, for the last decade, returned to his roots as a fine artist. Years of experimentation and refinement have resulted
in his mature style, using his favoured medium of oils. Whilst retaining realism, Julian draws out his signature abstractions in brush and knife (and fingers), resulting in a harmonious and pleasing composition that aims to discover the ‘Genius Loci’; soul, of a place or scene.
