Dorothea Carr was born in 1972. She studied in Bath and at Wimbledon School of Art, and currently lives and works in Berkshire. Predominantly a landscape and seascape artist she is passionate about the places she has made so central to her art. She works mainly in watercolour and oil paint, using both with expressive freedom. Dorothea has exhibited at the Tate Gallery and Lethaby Galleries in London, the Victoria Gallery in Bath and the National Gallery of Mongolia. She has recently exhibited at the Russell Gallery London.
