Richard Colson has shown at many fine galleries such as the Russell Gallery and New Grafton Gallery and has paintings in the House of Commons and the House of Lords. He contributed to the Art Below Group Show at The Tabernacle, Notting Hill Gate in 2016. The show was a celebration of the Queen’s 90th birthday and included major artists such as Gavin Turk, Mr Brainwash, Goldie and Nasser Azam. There is a confidence in his mark making that shines through his work, both in his loose, impressionistic landscapes and cityscapes and his elegant and refined still lives. Richard is a versatile artist working in both oil and pastel, a member of the Chelsea Arts club and London sketch club, and a regular contributing artist to Aubergine exhibitions.
